A Tabita Ministries Ambassador is a volunteer who has a passion and a vision for reaching family, friends, colleagues, church and the greater community with the needs of the Romanian people and this ministry work.
DUTIES OF AN AMBASSADOR ...
- Share needs and report on the work of Tabita Ministries within the community
- Encourage and facilitate financial contributions/support from family, friends, colleagues, churches and the greater community
- Promote Mission Trip opportunities
- Plan, organize and hold fundraisers
The length of these trips are approximately 10 days in Romania plus travel time. (About 14 days in total) Upon arrival in Romania we will be greeted by our hosts, Pastor Marius Ianc & his wife Tabita, in the town of Ciacova (Chalk-oh-vah), located in southwest Romania. We will get settled into living quarters at the Learning for Life Center or, in some cases, a host family. The next few days will be spent visiting and working with people who are being helped by Tabita Ministries. We will attend a church service at Biserica Crestina Baptista in Ciacova and participate in an Agape Sunday Outreach There will be opportunity to tour the city of Timisoara and area, visiting Victory Square where the Revolution began, bringing an end to communism. Cost includes airfare and ground transportation from Vancouver, BC to Ciacova, Romania, plus meals and accommodation while in Romania.

This Mission Trip is an excellent way to see, feel and live Romania. It is life changing in a wonderful way. Tourists don't get to experience this. You will not only have the opportunity to strengthen and encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ but you will also be greatly blessed.

It is also our hope that as you experience the ministry work of Tabita Ministries you will ‘Catch the Vision’ and return home as ‘Ambassadors’ for this ministry work in Romania.
Cost of trip $2500.00 CAD per person includes:
Return airfare from Vancouver, BC, flight cancellation and interruption insurance.
accommodation, meals, and all ground travel while in Romania.
Each traveler must acquire their own medical and life insurance.

GROUND TRAVEL: We will be picked up by bus service in Budapest, Hungary and travel to Ciacova, Romania. Travel time approximately 3.5 to 4Hrs.
RETURN FLIGHT ITINERARY: We will leave Ciacova by bus @ 3:00 AM Sept. 27 for Budapest departure @ 8:25 AM / Arrive London @ 2:25 PM. Leave London @ 12:55PM Arrive Vancouver @ 2:25 PM Sept.27th.

DAY 1 - Orientation meeting and tour of Ciacova (Chock-ah-vah)
DAY 2 - Attend and participate in church service with Pastor Marius and Tabita at Biserica Crestina Baptista Ciacova. (Christian Baptist Church of Ciacova) Evening fellowship with members of the congregation.
DAY 3 TO 7 - Ministry outreach with children from the Tabita Ministries Bible Club. Distribute groceries and visit with people being helped. Tour villages in the area and visit churches established by Pastor Marius. Take part in an Agape Sunday Outreach with opportunity to share your faith story. (Informal time of fellowship where people from the community are invited.)
DAY 8 - Tour of City of Timisoara and Revolution Square where the revolt started, bringing an end to the communist dictatorship.
DAY 9 - Church service and farewell party with the Biserica Crestina Baptista fellowship.
DAY 10 - Debriefing session and preparation for return trip.
