Tabita Ministries is inspired by Acts 9:36-43. This is the account of Dorcas, also called Tabitha,

(Tah-BEE-tah is the Romanian pronunciation) a woman from Joppa who was known for befriending and helping the poor.

The heart of Tabita Ministries is to alleviate poverty, bringing help and hope to those in need in the country of Romania. These objectives are accomplished through an Emergency Food & Clothing Program, Emergency Shelter, Agape Sunday Outreaches and Micro Business initiatives. We focus primarily on helping Children, Single Mothers, the Elderly & Infirm. We strive to encourage families as they face day to day challenges.
